BOBBY DARINMack the Knife
Late in 1958, Bobby Darin laid the tracks to an LP with a song that would change the course
of his career. The ATCO album THAT'S ALL contained the hit "Mack the Knife" which would remain
number one for nine weeks on the billboard charts.
It also earned a GRAMMY for "Best Song of 1959" and Darin was awarded "Best New Artist" at the
same ceremony.
"Mack" became Bobby's signature song. It became the theme of his NBC television series and
is still heard on oldies stations today.
