LAS VEGAS
- 1438 Cayuga Parkway: Bobby bought this house
on July 11, 1972. This was around the time he had engagements at the Desert Inn and Las Vegas
Hilton. Look on this page
and you can see Walden Robert Cassotto, owner. If you click "current ownership," it tells the address and the
specifics of the house.

- Sahara Hotel & Casino: 2535 Las Vegas Blvd. South: Bobby
made his first Las Vegas nightclub appearance with George Burns at the Sahara in July 1959.

- Sands Hotel & Casino: (Imploded/now the Venetian.) 3355
Las Vegas Blvd. South: Visit the Great Hall at the Venetian, an extravagantly large entry room covered with
Italian frescoes and gilded trim. The hall sits atop some of Las Vegas' holiest ground -- the former location of
the Copa Room where Bobby performed. On October 6, 1959, Bobby became the youngest artist to ever headline at
the Sands in Las Vegas.

Venus Room
(1968-about a month after RFK died). During his act, he sang "I'm on My Way" while sitting alone on
stage with only a stool & guitar.

- Bonanza Hotel & Casino:
3645 Las Vegas Blvd. South:
Performing protest selections and "Simple Song of Freedom" solo on guitar, Bob Darin appeared for one night
only on July 16, 1969. The Bonanza was torn down sometime after 1973 and became the entrance to Bally's
Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

album which wasn't released until 1987.

- Pamplemousse
Le Restaurant 400 East Sahara Avenue:
Bobby Darin's Dream - In 1976, Georges La Forge's talents came
together in the Pamplemousse Restaurant (French for "grapefruit").
The name Pamplemousse was the idea of longtime
friend and intended partner Bobby Darin.
Bobby thought Pamplemousse was the most beautiful word in the French
language (it reminded him of chocolate mousse and champagne).
Though Bobby's untimely death in 1973 precluded
the partnership, Georges kept the name in tribute and memory of his friend.

Hotel & Casino 219 North Center Street: Bobby opened at Harrah's on September 1, 1971. This was his first
performance after having open-heart surgery seven months prior.

P.O. Box 8, Stateline, Nevada: Bobby opened for George Burns in the old South Shore Room at
Harrah's in May 1959.
