Original Hamburgers 2575 Beverly Blvd:
After a late night, six hour, recording session Bobby took the
guys to Tommy’s for a bite to eat. Tommy, a big fan,
wanted to fix the hamburgers personally and referring to the
hamburgers commented, “I treat my babies good.” This gave Bobby an idea for a song.
So, it was back to the recording
studio to record the Darin favorite “Treat My Baby Good.”

Sausalito: Bobby had bought a tugboat and had spent
a fortune having it turned into a houseboat. It was his pride and joy, and he took delight in acting as captain
while Andrea and her boys served as crew. They planned a boat trip up the Sacramento River for late June, and on
the twenty-fifth of that month they arrived in Sausalito, where the boat was docked, to begin the cruise.
