Bobby
Darin was born Walden Robert Cassotto in New York, 1936, but he
took the world by storm in his short 37 year life. He sang, he danced,
he wrote songs, he acted, he was active in the politics of his day,
he was a publisher and much, much more. Suffering from rheumatic
fever as a child, Darin wasn't expected to live into his 20s due
to a weakened heart. Yet Darin never let his condition stand in
the way of becoming one of the most brilliant and well-rounded entertainers
who has ever lived.
